July 4th Watercolors
Happy fourth of July everyone!
Thought I’d share a couple watercolor sketches made earlier today.
That big one in the center was the boss.
We walked by the Morcom Rose Garden in Oakland. I’ve done watercolors there before, so I skipped the roses. The chicken coop had much more action.
We had about 45 minutes before Jurassic World started. It was good! Go see it.
I’ve wanted to paint the Grand Lake Theatre since we moved here. Really a beautiful old place. I will have to try this one again, maybe with oils.
Once again, my super cool fanny pack paid off. It holds everything I need for sketching, and looks soooo stylish. I might start wearing it everywhere.
