Shroom Raider Page 9

Hi Everyone! I’m Taylor (also known as tjdevarie or TJD), the writer and letterer of Shroom Raider. I have edited certain posts on SCL’s blog before, and I’m introducing page 9 of Shroom Raider in my first guest post!

Amanita did some—you guessed it—’shroom raiding in page 8 of Shroom Raider, and we now see her reaping the fruit of her efforts. Delicious!

Laetiporus sulphureus is commonly known as Chicken of the Woods! I’d love to try some in ramen. Ever eat ramen? It’s a delicious noodle soup from Japan (originally from China though), and there are all kinds.

You might be aware of the more common types, like Shio (salt) and Shoyu (soy sauce) ramen—but have you ever had pizza instant noodles from Pakistan? And if you ever need 6.6 pounds of meat in your ramen, the Meat Rock Climbing Ramen will suit you. But never fear! If soup ain’t your shtick, you can try the Ramen Burger?

Whatever your shtick is, just make sure it’s safe to eat. Amanita tries her best to stay safe…but, in the end, discovery is the name of the game 🙂

Stay tuned for more Shroom Raider next week!
