24 Hour Comic Book Day: Ready, Set, Go!

The day has come. I’ve been looking forward to this for weeks. It’s time to make comics.

Comic book fuel.

Here’s the rule: create 24 pages of comics in 24 hours. I’ll be working from 10 am Saturday (today) to 10 am Sunday.

Think of it like a full day’s work, followed by an all nighter, followed by a super productive morning.

This year, I got some previsualization sketches done. Some people try to do it with absolutely no prework, but I couldn’t help myself. I haven’t started on any pages yet.

Workspace is looking SHARP!

For this project, I’m going string together a few scenes I’ve been working on and tackle a few personal issues. We will see how it turns out.

I’m making myself the main character on this one. That takes one level of difficulty out of the project. I don’t have to wonder what my character would be doing; I can just act naturally.

Wish me luck, folks!

More posts to come; stay tuned!
